| If you have your own digital artwork, these are
issues that you will have to consider... |
|
| • | If your logo is a "raster" image,
made up of dots or looks like a photograph, (tiff, jpg, bmp, or psd), QSP can print it on a color copy, as a grey scale image, or print it in full color ink. Usu- ally, this type of image cannot be printed in spot color without some adjustments (except mono and duotones). |
| • | If you logo is a "vector" image, such
as an EPS or AI file, QSP can print this image in many different ways, including spot color. |
| • | All color logos that will be printed
should be formatted for off- set printing. Sport colors should be determined within the logo. Standard PMS colors and CMYK formats are preferred. |
| • | For the best quality output, QSP needs
the original file for your logo. This is true if we are creating your product from scratch, or if your logo is "linked" to other artwork which you have pro- vided. |
| • | If you are providing a raster image,
the best quality output will be determined by the "dpi" in the file. The standard setting for printing is 300 dpi. |
| • | Vector images with colors that touch each
other should be set up for "trapping". If necessary, QSP can make those adjust ments for a fee. |
